The Founders

Atlanta Outreach Project was founded in September of 2008 by Beverly Means, LMSW and David Grolljahn. They came together with a vision that collectively they could make a great impact on the issue of homelessness in the city of Atlanta.

David Grolljahn has worked with the homeless on the streets of many cities across the United States over the past twenty-seven years but has only recently put aside his own computer business and other endeavors to dedicate his efforts full time to working closely with the chronically homeless.

Beverly Means is a licensed Social Worker with over 10 years of service to her community. She has worked and volunteered in areas such as hospice, foster care, disaster relief, and HIV/AIDS, Her love for working with the homeless grew while working for a transitional housing program and she has now dedicated her career to ensuring that every homeless individual has a place to call home.
